Acacia Training
Delivering training different.
The brief
Acacia Training was established in 2001 providing high-quality teaching of the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required of learners across a range of sectors, including Health and Social Care, Childcare and Early Years, Sports, and Dental Nursing through various funding streams.
They had an existing site that was a pre-existing template-based website that wasn’t easily accessible or user friendly for the front-end user or to make changes within the back-end for the marketing team. Think3 was approached to develop a new bespoke built website with a focus on their unique approach courses.
The solution
We immediately focused our design on the user journey and ensure that the site becomes a genuine lead generation for the business. We wanted to ensure that the website is simple and user friendly however, many training providers within the sector use a top-down approach to their sites with a separate focus on two core areas, one for learners and one for employers. We instead were keen to explore a reverse approach to the website where the focus is on the individual sectors in advance of the ways in which training can be accessed.
A focus on sectors
The key change in focussing instead on that reverse approach to the website where the focus is on the individual sectors in advance of the ways in which training can be accessed.
This differentiates the website from other competitors within the market, placing emphasis on the options available for individual sectors rather than the end-user, this will be both attractive to individuals considering options for their own training but also to employers who are considered introducing training into their workplace.
